Recently, TWO of my closest friends made huge progress in launching their businesses, and I am so proud of them…  lights me up to see you taking action on your dreams and in particular taking the HUGE step of launching.  Launching is letting the world know what you’re up to and what you have to offer.

SO many times we are busying ourselves with small details that really don’t matter as much as letting people in on what you’re up to or working towards.  Take them on the journey with you. 

Launching applies whether you are creating a product you are going to sell, whether you are a coach and have services you provide, whether you are starting or want to revive a network marketing business…

It is a BIG deal to launch.  It can feel really vulnerable because you are putting yourself out there and the thing that you have put your heart and soul into.

The thing that you are putting your heart and soul into is now going to be exposed to the rest of the world. 

It’s easy to worry about any naysayers, but the opposite happens – you will be surprised at the outpouring of support you’ll get.  When I launched this podcast in Feb of this year, it felt super vulnerable – It took a lot of work to get to that point, and it was something that I created.  Something that I’m passionate about.  And something that I’m not quite sure how it will go.  You get all of these thoughts that go through your mind…what if it doesn’t work out?  What will THEY think then?  The reality is, THEY will be there for you and support you all the same, EVEN IF it doesn’t work out. But here’s the thing, if you have something in you that has led you to launching this business, the fact that you are launching is huge – and you WILL grow from that.  It’s not like you’re just going to go right back to where you were….you will grow and make any PIVOTS necessary as you go. 

One of my dear friends did a soft launch of her online boutique yesterday and I am so proud of her. She’s calling it a soft launch because the website isn’t finished yet, and the name and logo isn’t completely ready to be released yet…but you know what- she has some inventory of clothes and this has been a dream of hers.  She had big plans for 2020.  And what a year it’s been right?  BUT she DECIDED that with the whole world turned upside down that who knows when the right time would be.  She had to create that time and just do it.   So what did she do?

She created an instagram post showing the clothes, talking about them, and in the post giving the price, how many sizes she had of each size, and updated that post as the sizes were  accounted for.  She took action.  Got creative and didn’t wait for everything to be perfectly in place before she started.

Waiting on the perfect time, or external circumstances to fall into place….you’ll still be waiting this time next year.
